freesci software package provides a portable interpreter for SCI games like Space Quest 3, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freesci
freesci is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freesci package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freesci *
You will get with freesci package name, version, architecture and description in a table
